Alex Borbón Porras is a medical doctor and global operations strategist known for applying data-driven thinking to improve how organizations work—and how people live. With deep experience at Hakkōda, an IBM Company, she spent nearly three years leading global consulting operations, where she designed and optimized delivery workflows, strengthened utilization and capacity planning, and supported financial performance across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and India. 

At Hakkōda, Alex built the company’s global resource allocation infrastructure, enabling leadership teams to make faster, clearer decisions on staffing, project alignment, and operational priorities. Her work helped streamline cross-functional communication, reduce operational friction, and support long-term revenue growth. Prior to her management role, she served as a Global Consulting Operations Analyst, improving departmental processes and providing strategic insights to both Delivery and Sales.
